ABC once again promotes the "Mama em Movimento" Solidarity Walk and Run

The Algarve Biomedical Center ( ABC ) announces the 4th edition of the Solidarity Walk and Run «Mama em Movimento», taking place on October 25th, starting at MAR Shopping Algarve , in Loulé, at 9:30 am.

The meeting offers two routes accessible to everyone: the six-kilometer (km) walk and the 10-kilometer (km) run/trail, with registration fees of 10 and 15 euros, respectively.

More than a sporting event, «Mama em Movimento» is an initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, with all proceeds going to the Algarve Oncology Association ( AOA ) and the Portuguese League Against Cancer – Southern Regional Unit (LPCC-NRS), institutions that play an essential role in supporting cancer patients, prevention and promoting research.

"This event is an invitation to the community to unite in a cause of solidarity, reinforcing the importance of prevention and support for those facing this disease," emphasizes the organization, led by Algarunners, MAR Shopping Algarve, AOA and LLPCC-NRS.

The winners of the race (male and female categories) will receive several prizes, such as: gift cards of 200 euros (1st place), 100 euros (2nd place) and 50 euros (3rd place); gift cards from @aciumportugal; raffle for the walk participants: brunch voucher at Mogno; lunch voucher for two people at Harune AP Eva Senses Faro; and a voucher for a foot evaluation at the Laboratório de Insoles by ABC.
